BAA passport competition winner
Once again the BAA conference was a great success. Thank you to all the delegates who visited us. It was nice to catch up with some old and valued customers as well as meet some new ones.
We were particularly pleased with the offers of help to develop some foreign language world lists for the Parrotplus. This is something we are very keen to take up and will be publishing further details on our website soon. Following comments and offers at the conference, we will be investigating the possibility of producing speech tests in Urdu, Gujarati, Arabic, Polish and Cantonese.
If anyone already has a recorded speech test in any of these, or indeed any other language, and would like to see it used on a Parrotplus, please contact us via e-mail.
Finally, congratulations to Anne Halpin, winner of the soundbyte Solutions prize in the passport competition. She is seen here receiving a bottle of single malt whiskey from our marketing manager Julia Jepson. For those of you who had noticed that Julia has put on a bit of weight but were too polite to ask. She is indeed pregnant and is looking forward to starting Maternity leave in January.
